Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States, guided his country through the most devastating experience in its national history--the CIVIL WAR. He is considered by many historians to have been the greatest American president. During the Civil War, Lincoln appropriated powers no previous President had wielded: he used his war powers to proclaim a blockade, suspended the writ of habeas corpus, spent money without congressional authorization, and imprisoned 18,000 suspected Confederate sympathizers without trial. Nearly all of his actions were subsequently upheld by Congress and the Courts. |

McCain must reject Parsley's endorsement |

After McCain rejected Pastor Hagee's endorsement, Muslims of the United States are demanding that he should also reject the endorsement from Pastor Rod Parsley who declares Islam as the "Anti Christ" religion. Parsley holds these views in spite the fact that Jesus is one of the most prominent prophets of Islam with a whole chapter of Quran devoted to Mary and Jesus.
