The Muslim American Public Affairs Council were shocked to learn that seven men were arrested in North Carolina on Tuesday July 27th on charges related to attempting to engage in violence in foreign countries. MAPAC asks for people to remain calm and urge the media to respect the 14th Amendment rights of these individuals and not jump to conclusions before these men have been given a fair trial. MAPAC reitierates its continued condemnation of all forms of terrorism and violence. |
